THE PROJECT
A scheduling platform and mobile app streamlining nurse shift management for hospitals, improving efficiency and communication.
PROBLEM
Two audiences, one platform: Ondek needed a single system to serve both individual clinicians on mobile and facility administrators on web — each with different permission levels without the experience feeling fragmented for either side.
GOAL
Design a scheduling ecosystem that feels effortless for a nurse checking in their phone, and equally clear for a facility manager reviewing shift coverage and clinician ratings from a dashboard — all under one consistent design system.
APPROACH
We approached as a role-based product: mapping every access level and user journey first, then designing mobile flows for clinicians (shift check-in/out, timesheets, documents, chat) and web flows for facilities (scheduling, shift requests, feedback & ratings) on one shared visual language
