Raena AI is an AI-powered study app that turns any PDF, video, or notes into quizzes, flashcards, podcasts, and more — helping 1.3M+ students across 170+ countries study less and remember more.
PROBLEM
Too much, too scattered: With 8+ study formats across web and mobile, the existing experience felt inconsistent.
Hard to feel the value fast: The onboarding flow didn't guide them to the right format quickly enough.
Scaling across platforms: Keeping the experience consistent between the web app and mobile required a design system that could flex without breaking.
GOAL
The goal was to simplify a fragmented multi-platform experience and create a cohesive learning tool that helps students get from upload to studying in seconds — across both web and mobile.
APPROACH
We rebuilt the dashboard structure around a faster upload-to-study flow, introduced a responsive design system that keeps web and mobile consistent, and refined each study module to feel lighter and easier to navigate on any device.
